ah true, i wrote that quickly.  stems up and it 
might need to go in layer 2, but if the trill 
note is a second above the main note, the spacing 
will affect it.

anyways, the solution i mentioned works awesome 
but not in 100% of the cases.  i use different 
solutions depending on the situaton :-)

the grace note approach is bad because even if 
you have music spacing that ignores grace notes, 
they are "attached" to the next note, move a 
measure to another system and the space between 
main and grace will change.
