No, I didn't get it working. It appeared for a few seconds, then went away again as soon as I went to respace...
The playback problem isn't midi-related. I know you said you don't do much playback, but it seems to be with the human playback stuff. I get this message about instruments sharing channels, and it asks if I want to continue using HP. If I say yes, than half the instruments just don't play. If I say no, then it plays, whether using midi or vst. I also just found that a large section of music has disappeared from in the middle. Hadn't seen that before, but it could have been there. Yes, I am a newbie... I got the program at Christmas, and for the first couple of months I spent all my spare time on it! Eventually I managed to get back to a semblance of normal life, but I still have a blast with this thing. There is just *so* much to learn! I find myself having to go and dig in the manuals for stuff that I did a couple of weeks ago, because the details of just *how* I did it are gone. My memory probably isn't as good as it once was, but I don't remember for sure! I am trying to put off doing this major re-install here... I have to do it sooner or later. <sigh> At 09:38 AM 3/23/2013, you wrote: >aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, a newby! > >"you are entering a world of pain." >--walter > > >Ok, I figured I was missing something, but *what*???
