One thing which has caused what you call "land mines" has been when instead of creating an expression from scratch I've simply duplicated an existing one and edited what appears but forgotten to edit any playback feature which the original expression had. So I may think I've created an expression along the lines of "watch the conductor" only to find that the original expression had playback set to affect tempo and to double it. Perhaps that's a part of your problems. -- David H.
