O.k., I'm stuck. I've looked at the faqs, etc. and I'm still confused.

Problem: bundle-gnome version 2 does not appear in my package database (fink list). I do have the unstable paths specified in my fink configuration. Moreover, if I do a find, bundle-gnome-2.0.3-2.info shows up where it's supposed to. If I move the /sw/fink/10.2/unstable/main/finkinfo/gnome folder out of the way, a new gnome folder with bundle-gnome-2.0.3-2.info is created when I selfupdate-cvs.

Background: I did a selfupdate-cvs a couple of days ago, followed by update-all. I didn't realize gnome-bundle-2 had been added and my gnome installation became unusable. Because I depend on gnumeric, the quick and dirty solution was to replace my /sw directory with a three-day-old backup. Gnome (old gnome) runs fine, but the problem described above is troubling.

I (to a fault) regularly do the selfupdate-cvs/update-all routine.

I'd be grateful for any suggestions which would result in repairing the (apparently) damaged package database.

Thanks-
