I am "adding" the following information to my original E-MAIL RE the system profile below in case it makes a difference
or is needed for a solution:
"I am using the Apple version of "X11" not "xdarwin" !!"
The only time we've seen this is with Apple's X11, if I had to guess I'd say it was an Apple X11 bug.
Does it fix itself if you click on the X11 icon in the dock? Sometimes it gets confused about focus if it's not brought to the front explicitly...
