Well I reinstalled xfree and applex11tools as advised and xdarwin crashes at the same point as before with the same message (I can't seem to grab the terminal screen to send data before xdarwin dies).....however I tried in full screen mode on xdarwin and everything works. Any idea what would be causing this crash in rootless?
