Hi everyone, I had a very similar problem to the one encountered by Eric Donaldson on 12/14. I actually wanted to run a perl script referring to some entities of the Bioperl package. The script, one launched, yields the following message:
Can't locate Bio/DB/GenBank.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /sw/lib/perl5/5.8.8/darwin-thread-multi-2level /sw/lib/perl5/5.8.8 /sw/lib/perl5/darwin-thread-multi-2level /sw/lib/perl5/5.8.8/darwin-thread-multi-2level /sw/lib/perl5 /sw/lib/perl5/darwin /sw/lib/perl5-core/5.8.8/darwin-thread-multi-2level /sw/lib/perl5-core/5.8.8 /sw/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/darwin-thread-multi-2level /sw/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8 /sw/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/darwin-thread-multi-2level /sw/lib/perl5/site_perl .) at ret.pl line 2. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at ret.pl line 2. I do not think it is a problem of Perl version (I had this kind of problem more than one year ago and could solve it thank to you and to the maintainer of the bioperl package) since my bioperl package and my perl version seem to be okay. This is perl, v5.8.8 built for darwin-thread-multi-2level Might it be due to a problem of path?
