That's clearer; it was hard for me late at night to parse what was written. Not every package you have installed congtains an application with the same name as the package. Some have libraries, some may contain documentation, some may install more than one application, and some may install one or more applications, but their names don't correspond to that of the package. You can see what a package installed by selecting it in Fink Commander and using Tools -> Browse package files. Anything that is installed in /sw/bin or /sw/sbin is an application--not all of those are intended for users to run, however. - -- Alexander Hansen, Ph.D. Fink User Liaison http://finkakh.wordpress.com/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (Darwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAk2xaN0ACgkQB8UpO3rKjQ+HJwCfTga9EiwyZKjeZ73pnyZz/IL1 nBoAoIvBMqiRGk5YXEkeP133Sxqg6Jdu =TwR7 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Fulfilling the Lean Software Promise Lean software platforms are now widely adopted and the benefits have been demonstrated beyond question.
