That's clearer; it was hard for me late at night to parse what was written.

Not every package you have installed congtains an application with the
same name as the package.  Some have libraries, some may contain
documentation, some may install more than one application, and some may
install one or more applications, but their names don't correspond to
that of the package.

You can see what a package installed by selecting it in Fink Commander
and using Tools -> Browse package files.  Anything that is installed in
/sw/bin or /sw/sbin is an application--not all of those are intended for
users to run, however.
