I can't say what specifically it is, but the whole survey thing kind of
makes me feel uneasy.  I feel like my hobby is being turned into a
product...  I appreciate that David is wanting to jump in and do PR-type
stuff, and get the word out, and work on documentation, but at the same
time I can't help but feel like we're pushing it before we're ready for
more attention than we're already getting.  There's still plenty to do
before Fink is a 1.0 program.

As for what it's needed for, David's reasons for doing this is to get
some more official support, or at least acknowledgement, from Apple.  I
think it would be great to see Apple support us more officially.  There
are occasional mentions of Fink, but for the most part, we've been
ignored, even though we bring thousands of apps to MacOSX.

So my answer is, "I don't know."  Part of me loves it, and part of me is
worried by it.  Maybe we should have a survey as to whether Fink users
should have a survey or not.  =D
