I did. I found exactly one previous mention of '/usr/local/fink', which you dismissed with 'please read the FAQ.' ;-)

/usr/local/fink falls into about the same category as /usr/local. In fact, I think it combines that bad parts of /usr/local with any drawbacks /sw has... :-)
