I've included the previous discussion on this to refresh memories. I'm having the same 
problem, and wonder if there is a solution yet. Ben mentioned that he reported this as 
bug, but searching for posts by him on this list didn't yield any results (are bugs 
reported on a seperate list?)

Is the solution to uninstall XDarwin and let the kde packages install X themselves?

I reported this exact bug several days ago. They had input then. See 
the archives.

My solution was: "dpkg -r --forcedepends system-libgl". But that 
doesn't solve the problem.
