If you are using Virex, and want to continue using it, then what I've
been unofficially recommending is:

1)  Shut Virex down if it's running.
2)  Remove the /sw directory with

sudo rm -rf /sw

3)  Install Fink
4)  Once Fink is working, install the following packages:  dlcompat,
curl, and openssl--these provide the same libraries that Virex put in
its /sw directory.
5)  You should be then able to run Virex again.

I believe this is harmless, then.  You could try searching your system
for it:

cd /
grep -rI /usr/share/init/tcsh/rc
