Dude, really, what you want is not Fink, and is nowhere near what we do. I've already migrated to a distribution, it's called "Fink on Mac OS X".


If you want to make such a project, go for it, but there's no way I'm going to work on a project to migrate from the OS of my choice -- the OS Fink was designed for. If you want to make Fink more portable to other OSes, great! We'll happily accept your patches.
