Hi all,

Sorry for the delay.

Have to put up 10.3.8, fink, etc...

It does not build either for me on 10.3.8. But well before bluefish.

It seems that it is gtk2.4.9 wich refuses to link to pango.

checking Pango flags... -I/Volumes/FireWire3/sw/include/glib-2.0 -I/Volumes/FireWire3/sw/lib/glib-2.0/include -I/Volumes/FireWire3/sw/include/pango-1.0 -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/usr/X11R6/include/freetype2 -L/Volumes/FireWire3/sw/lib -lpangoxft-1.0 -lpangox-1.0
configure: error:
*** Can't link to Pango. Pango is required to build
*** GTK+. For more information see http://www.pango.org
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
### execution of ./configure failed, exit code 2
Removing build lock...
/Volumes/FireWire3/sw/bin/dpkg-lockwait -r fink-buildlock-gtk+2-2.4.9-8
(Reading database ... 36912 files and directories currently installed.)
Removing fink-buildlock-gtk+2-2.4.9-8 ...
Failed: phase compiling: gtk+2-2.4.9-8 failed

Then I don't know what to do here.

Thus there seem to be a whole bunch of libraries missing on the linker command line. I don't know where they should have come from.

I am also surprised because I see that there is basically no difference between bluefish versions 1.0.1-10 and 1.0.1-11. When I built 1.0.1-10 2 weeks ago, it went well, and I think I did nothing else than selfupdate/update-all on this machine. Somehow the references to these libraries must have disappeared in the meantime.

Here it built w/o problem _ on a 10.3.9 machine. The whole bunch of additional libraries is there in the command.
So Michele may have difficulties to reproduce...
You don't see anything wrong in your configure ?
