I missed this! Thank you! Adding this -m64 switch leads indeed to a different
library being linked:
/sw/lib/gcc4.6/lib/gcc/i386-apple-darwin10.8.0/4.6.1/x86_64/libgcc.a instead of
/sw/lib/gcc4.6/lib/gcc/i386-apple-darwin10.8.0/4.6.1/libgcc.a.
And so temacs is built, but then an error happens:
unexec: unrecognized section name in __DATA segment
Maybe I need to apply some patches from emacs23.patch... (or try with MacPorts)
