In addition to using the fact that Texas CHL permit holders had to put up with a bunch of bogus arrests from 1996-1999 as proof that the CHL law put cops in danger, the other misleading tactic was to use an example of a guy who shot at cops *in his own house* as proof that as proof that CCW laws put cops in danger.
