I would like to provide the raw data, but I had stored it on a separate website and linked to it, (because it put me over my quota on my "primary" website). When I left that ISP, I forgot to download a copy of the files. Add in a hard drive crash about the same time, and the end result is that I no longer have the raw files.

I did a search of my archives and much to my surprise, I found _one_ of the three files that I obtained from the DPS: the data for suspensions and revocations in 1997.

I once had the data for 1996 and 1998. And I have no idea why I would have one in this particular place, but not the others.

I've zipped the Excel workbook and put it on my webserver. You can download it from:

http://www.ptb.org/txchl/piodi97.zip

And, the Wayback Machine (www.archive.org) provided some additional summary info from the DPS before the new law took effect:

http://web.archive.org/web/20010204080800/www.txdps.state.tx.us/administration/crime_records/chl/2000arroflicholders.htm

I know that's a horrendously long URL, and you may have to reconstruct it in your browser URL field.
