No power brakes. I tried disconnecting the brake light switch under the dash and not having the issue. Looks like the issue is with the brake lights. The brake lights do work when it's connected, though. I don't see anything obvious. I hate tracking down electrical problems! This is a long shot, but maybe your alt isn't putting out and when you take your foot off the gas, the motor slows to idle, not enough juice, then the brake lights suck the rest of the power and you don't have a spark.
