I've been following the posts on the locking gas cap
and couldn't help but notice the comments on "vented"
vs "non-vented" caps.  

I have a regular non-locking cap on my 68 400.  I
think its non-vented because every time I go to fill
up there is a sudden release of air (gas)pressure when
I open it up.  Not to ask a "dumb question", but what
type of cap is preferable and what are the issues
between "vented" vs. "non-vented"?
