I had a 400 w/670's in the car before I tore it down and now I've got 6x-4's fully ported for the 455. The 6x's cost me $200 off e-bay, a couple months of my time porting them on the weekends and evenings, $50 porting kit that was crap, $30 in carbide bits, $330 in parts off e-bay, and $550 for the machine work. That's about $1160 for the heads. Considering the time I put into these, the edelbrock fully dressed heads seem like a pretty good deal. On the upshot, I did learn a lot and you get to use a pontiac part.
