First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List

I got a complete 68 set from CI and it looks fine. One of the shorter "L" rear
pieces sat a little high. I returned it for another and it was better. Does
seem thinner and more fragile. One thing I noticed on the bottom piece of the
repro windshield molding the "dent" on the molding where it goes past the
windshield frame is a little sharper than original. I've had people who aren't
necessarily car people ask how the dents got in there. I have to explain that's
how it is to get around the windshield frame and dripedge.
If all your other trim is OE pieces I would definately try to find OE to
refurbish. Don't know how the finish and or thickness would match up.
