Thanks for all the advice. I bought a 5/8" - 18 x 2" bolt at my local surplus store for 85 cents. I'm in business and have the piece of mind that I'm not goofing with my thrust bearing. BTW, it goes on fairly smooth on my stock 400 crank but fits rather snug on my new Ohio 455 "stroker" crank, the one I'm using now.
