Tripowers are nice to show off and are VERY expensive, but, not the best if you want to make HP. I would track down a 455 or even a 400 and build it up. Nothing better than cubic inches.

I guess you need to define what your ultimate goal is and go from there otherwise you're just going to be spending a lot of money on boltons and addons and you may not get to where you want to be.

I have a '68 Firebird convertible with a 350 and a four-barrel. I know dual fours are too much carburation for the engine (it started out as a 265-horse with a two-barrel), but would it be possible to run the three two-barrels? If so, what engine modifications, if any, would anyone suggest? Thanks!
