First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... My dream (yeah, right!) is to be able to go through all four gears and not move more than 50 feet, but I'll settle for a good crusing machine that I can have fun with. I passed up a chance years ago to get a 455 at a reasonable price; maybe I'll consider that or just keep it as is and enjoy!
Thanks! ________________________________ From: hugot <[email protected]> To: First Generation Firebird-L <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, January 6, 2009 11:13:09 PM Subject: Re: [FGF] Tri-Power for Firebird? First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... Tripowers are nice to show off and are VERY expensive, but, not the best if you want to make HP. I would track down a 455 or even a 400 and build it up. Nothing better than cubic inches. I guess you need to define what your ultimate goal is and go from there otherwise you're just going to be spending a lot of money on boltons and addons and you may not get to where you want to be.
