Which makes sense that the diff would be offset the same amount in order to no create a compound angle on the driveshaft. In hindsight, I can't believe how much time and effort I spent misaligning my transmission. I actually grinded out the mounting holes on the crossmember to get the thing to sit dead center. Doh! It all makes sense now. Sheen> Don't know the deal on your diff, but all V-8's are offset in the engine > compartment since they are all the same physical size.
