Because of the uneven seal groove depth I pretty much only have 2 choices, have the grooves machined to be even and use the viton seal or use the rope seal. I am going to go with the rope seal for sure. I was wondering if anybody had any experience with these new Teflon/graphite rope seals from this company,
http://www.bestgasket.com/ they "say" they are better than the modern non-asbestos (fiberglass) rope seals which I believe are the ones we have in our felpro kits.
