 Hi Tim,

That's good to hear. I was aware that the gauge of metal was a bit
thinner. I was just concerned about fit as I have heard horror stories
about after market panels and just saw a set purchased for a Mustang
that were way out.(Not Goodmark)

Nice to hear from someone who has had 1st hand experience.

I for one like the look of the vinyl top. As far as the fit goes 1/4"
is not too bad. You should be able to adjust, and shim panels to get
the proper fit. It's tough to make a comment without seeing exactly
where the alignment issue is but I've done a lot of adjusting without
cutting. That's not to say there are times when the grinder was the
only option. Just don't do like my buddy and cut corners. He hadn't
aligned everything completely prior to painting his 1970 Mustang. It
just cost him an extra $1K to fix the paint after we refitted his
quarters.

Thanks for the reply

.
Greetings Brent and all,
I had Goodmark rear quarters and inner tubs replaced on my 68 and the
fit seems to be pretty much right on except I haven't competed the
assembly yet
i.e.: rear bumper, etc.
The only difference I have noticed is the gauge of the metal may be a
little lighter. I only replaced the quarters, not the sail part. I am
planning on putting a vinyl top on the car. Any opinions?
I also am using the front valance and lower fender pieces, where the
turn signals go, from Goodmark and while one side of the turn signal cut
out lined up perfectly with each other, the drivers side is about a
quarter inch off in the alignment. I may be able to adjust it some, but
ultimately will probably have to cut one or the other pieces so my turn
signal will fit in the opening.
I'm not a body guy so I'm a little stuck as to what to do. Any
suggestions?
Anyway, that is my two cents,
