I think there may be an OHC group out there on the net somewhere that might
have some input. Basically, it is the "originality" guys that would find
this desirable, and even then they would not get a numbers matching combo.
My car is a 67 Sprint, but the original motor is long gone. Since I can't
go original, I really have no desire to go back to the OHC motor. Having
said all that I think it was Brett that posted pics a while back of a guy in
his area with an OHC Sprint car with a supercharger on it...I always thought
that was seriously cool!

I had at least 6 sprint cores and I never had anyone need anything off
them . The only request i had was for 4 barrell cams, apparently profiled
for better performance. Although a running engine would be worth more than
a core i would still try and get it for less. The only thing more rare
than a sprint engine is finding someone who needs a sprint engine.

I have been offered a cheap (I think?) sprint six engine, 4 speed box
etc from a '68 / '69 firebird as the guy is dropping in a V8.
It seems a shame as I would have thought it was quite a rare car being
OHC and manual.
I have no need for the engine and box as I have a 68 400 Convert, but I
am considering buying it to store / sell on / use in a project (got a 48
GMC pickup)
He wants approx. $450.
A) is it worth it
B) are they good engines / reliable
