Hey all, looking for a water valve for my '69 400 FB. Checked Ames and Year One, but no luck. Did find one on e-bay, but it looks like it's for a camaro, as it does not look like my original. According to the service manual, I think the part number is 9774799 Any suggestions? I'd like to be able to turn the heat off :)
Secondly, just got my bird back together with the long branch headers and the oil filter bracket that repositions the oil filter, but when I change the filter, I still need to "move" the trans cooler lines and take off the trans sheet metal cover to get the filter out. Is there a smaller diameter filter that will work on the v-8's?
