First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... I could be wrong (I have 3 69's and 2 67's), but, AFAIK the first gen Firebirds did not have a water valve to stop the flow of coolant water to the heater core (maybe AC cars since none of mine have AC or it's been removed).

Hey all, looking for a water valve for my '69 400 FB. Checked Ames and Year One, but no luck. Did find one on e-bay, but it looks like it's for a camaro, as it does not look like my original. According to the service manual, I think the part number is 9774799 Any suggestions? I'd like to be able to turn the heat off :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Submissions to Firebird-L: <[email protected]> Unsubscribe from Firebird-L: <[email protected]> Help: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/firebird/Firebird-L.html> Classifieds: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/ubb/> Owner Pictures: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/show/>
