I just put in a 2004R trans in my 326 HO coupe with a 3.36 posi rear. Firts
off, its a terrific upgrade, with lower 1st gear and a .67 overdrive, it works
well. On the highway at 65 MPH, my tach sits at around 2450 RPM, with a 3.23
rear, it should be a bit lower, but still very good.

Hi guys

I've been offered to buy a brand new NOS 8.2" limited slip rear gear
carrier.
It's made for 2,56-2,73 gears but the seller claims I can use 2,93-3,23
gears if I get an adapter ring.
Today my Bird has an open 3,08 differential.

I feel the need for a posi rear end so I'm really tempted to buy this
unit but I'm also in the process of installing a 200R4 transmission.
Will the 3.23 gears be to low (numerically) for my combination?

/Niklas
