First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... I have a 200R4 with a 3:23 posi unit in it on the 8.2 BOP 10 bolt and I love it, It runs great thru the quarter and yet runs about 1900 in 4th gear at 70 mph. I bought an auburn unit.
Just Smile... First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... Hi guys I've been offered to buy a brand new NOS 8.2" limited slip rear gear carrier. It's made for 2,56-2,73 gears but the seller claims I can use 2,93-3,23 gears if I get an adapter ring. Today my Bird has an open 3,08 differential. I feel the need for a posi rear end so I'm really tempted to buy this unit but I'm also in the process of installing a 200R4 transmission. Will the 3.23 gears be to low (numerically) for my combination? /Niklas ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Submissions to Firebird-L: <[email protected]> Unsubscribe from Firebird-L: <[email protected]> Help: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/firebird/Firebird-L.html> Classifieds: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/ubb/> Owner Pictures: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/show/> ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Submissions to Firebird-L: <[email protected]> Unsubscribe from Firebird-L: <[email protected]> Help: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/firebird/Firebird-L.html> Classifieds: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/ubb/> Owner Pictures: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/show/>
