Help me out.
  
All the kits I've seen are for carbs with integral chokes, also called "hot 
air" chokes.  These have a big round adjustable contraption on the passenger 
side of the carb with an aluminum tube to pull air through a choke stove in the 
intake manifold.
 
I think the 1968 'Bird will have a divorced choke, with a little springy-thingy 
screwed to the intake and an actuating rod up to the carb.  I have not seen a 
kit that will work on this kind of carb, since the carb doesn't have the big 
round contraption nor the correct mounting bosses.
 
But if there is such an electric choke kit I would sure like to see it.  I 
might even put one on my '71 Chevy truck.
