Does anyone know what the original Hurst shifter looked like for 68 Munice 4 speeds (on a 400 HO)? The car came with a new Competition Plus Hurst shifter installed and an old Hurst shift in a box. But the old one says Competition Plus on it, too, with no GM numbers. (And the original Hurst 3 speed shifter on my 68 Sprint doesn't have GM numbers on it either, but doesn't have anything else except a Hurst number on it.) Anyone know what's correct? Also, what was the original back up light switch set up for the Muncie 4 speed? The 68 service manual only has pictures of the saginaw transmissions and the muncie is different (the saginaws have the reverse through the cover and the bracket is bolted to the cover bolts-the muncies have reverse from the tail extension and the brackets for the saginaw don't work).
