Can I ask why not? Seems like a great way to get feedback, in a somewhat scientific fashion. People love Firebug and also we users want to see it only get better and better. Regarding the previous post about multiple tabs and multiple firebugs, this is also an issue for me. I used to be able to open in a new window multiple firebug windows and view them simultaneously. I could actually place one on each monitor of a dual display and compare them, trying to figure out why a newer version of a site is not working correctly. The only way I see now to have multple firebug windows is to have multiple Firefox instances running, which for me, at least, is inefficient.
