Thanks, JJB. Setting up the new Firefox profile was painless and I kept my old default settings on original Firefox profile. Unfortunately, even installed in new profile, with no plug-ins, same results. No error messages during the Firebug install but when I restart Firefox, but no sign of Firebug.
I do still have Firebug running fine on my 5-year-old XP laptop so I guess I'll use that and Web Developer (or any other recommendations for something similar to Firebug??) on my Vista desktop. Thanks. Wendy On Sep 2, 9:34 pm, johnjbarton <[email protected]> wrote: > On Sep 2, 8:25 pm, Wendy <[email protected]> wrote: > > > I just installed latest version, 1.4.2.
