Btw. you can press Shift+F12 or press the close button (the right-most one of the window buttons<https://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/Firebug_Terminology>) to deactivate Firebug for the website. > I also get you that closing the window is the same as minimizing the > Firebug but I think it's confusing this way. Positive effect would be that you see that Firebug is still enabled. Negative is that you have to click twice to get Firebug out of the way. > Hope it's not just me but I do understand if it is :) > Well, there were already different requests for changing the activation logic <http://code.google.com/p/fbug/issues/list?can=2&q=label%3Aactivation>, but so far I didn't hear one similar to your suggestion. This doesn't mean that your suggestion is bad. Tough changing the activation logic is something, which was discussed many times before and which affects many/all users. And changes to that logic always cause many complaints. Imagine the next one suggesting the window's close button should not minimize or re-attach Firebug but deactivate it... Anyway, if you still think this should be changed, feel free to create a new issue<http://code.google.com/p/fbug/issues/entry?template=User%20enhancement%20request>referring to our discussion here. I'd like to hear other opinions. Sebastian -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Firebug" group.
