Thanks for the feedback/help, as you asked I have created a new Issue for

and yes, you understand it totally right, it is exactly what I want.

Regarding your concern below (of having to click twice to have Firebug out 
of way), I don't see why you would have to click twice as if you want to 
get Firebug out of the way you just press Minimize and that will remove the 
whole detached window too and that is more in line with the rest of how 
things work.
