If you're looking for a free firewall for linux, there quite a few front
ends to ipchains which work quite well. Take a look at
http://www.freshmeat.net for any linux software you need.

Also, you might want to check out PMFirewall. It is a command line
ipchains configuration tool which is pretty simple to setup. It can be
downloaded from http://www.pointman.org.
