GREAT POINT! ..... Did the exact same thing when I tried to upgrade from studio 8 to the single flash application (which was $200). Adobe made me snail mail a letter to Oregon to get my money back. Ridiculous since it is an easy mistake to make. The cheapest upgrade (from what I can see) from Studio 8 is to Creative Suite 3 Web Standard for $400 ...if you're only interested in the flash.
That is unless I win a free version in one of the raffles in my flash users' group.
