Hey everyone - Thanks for the inputs. I think I will have to chalk this one up to _operator_error_ - as in, I was using the wrong rig file!
Amazing what will happen when a simple change - like using the file for an IC-746 instead of an IC-746Pro - will do! (And we must, of course, remember that change is inevitable....) Hmmm...this sounds strangely familiar...like one of those tech support calls that I get every once in a while like "why can't I change xxx?" 73's, and thanks for the help!
