True you got 20 votes but how many of those people were running on a
non-English platform?  Not me.

I'm not going to change my vote but if I was the release manager I would
seriously consider fixing it now.  I would make sure I understood what the
user experience would be in this situation.  I think first impressions
matter a lot.  Given all the interest we have in locales it is clear we
have many non-English users.
