Since the developers are obviously burning the midnight oil getting a
release out in the wee hours of the night, there is one small
clarification to Steve's announcement.
The VAC transmit problem only effects the FLEX-1500 and the SDR-1000.
It is not a problem on the Firewire based FLEX-5000 and FLEX-3000.
Also this beta is intended for all FlexRadio System's SDR and is not
specific to the FLEX-1500. Although if you have a Firewire based
FLEX-5000 and FLEX-3000 connected to the same PC as a FLEX-1500, you
have to make sure that you do not try and run a FLEX-1500 using a
database that was previously created and used by a FLEX-5000 or
FLEX-3000. The converse of this is true too. This beta version does
not handle radio interoperability of the databases.
If you have a FLEX-x000 and a FLEX-1500 connected to the same PC, it is
best that you setup two application shortcuts to PowerSDR.exe and use
the runtime option "-datapath:[path] to designate the folder where the
radio specific database is located. Refer to the following KB article
