Hi Ray,
sometimes I love testing betas but dont want to have ONLY beta...
2.0.5 has its own problems - some fixed in 2.0.6 - but e.g. did not have
the issue of non working VAC.
We get one beta after the other - every beta with its own problems. One
is solved and another is born... Thats normal betaing.... I agree
But what disapoints me very much is that there is no (non beta) release
for Flex 1500.
1500-Users are not able to choose between unstable beta and stable
release! Thats the point.
We here in germany have rules for products like this. Warranty says that
the product has to be fully functional in its hardware, software and
documentation.
Don´t get me wrong - I will work on the betas to finally get an stable
release. But let me be disapointed that I paid lots of money for a non
ready product.
Do you know banana software? It grows at the customers.

Martin, they are asking people to test newer software.. it clearly
states that the VAC does not work 4 the 1500.. Why would you be
disappointed?
Theres going to be a new version out soon. Does the previous release
not work for you?? If you do not like the stress of beta software
testing... don't do it.

Hi Tim,
yes, I installed very correct like 2.0.3 and 2.0.5.
What´s about the fw-update IN the flex1500. Is it somewhat
problematic that it was updated by 2.0.6 when I switch back to 2.0.5?
And sorry - I can not believe that VAC now does not work any more
with the 1500...
Instead giving 1500 users now a fully working version you support 3k
and 5k users with a new beta. THEY have a working release - we do not...
I am not very pleased with this beta phase. I would very much like to
have a fully working radio for my money!
If you sell a radio for normal price you have to deliver a fully
working item. You did not.
Sorry but I am very disapointed.

Was the FLEX-1500 turned off when you ran the PowerSDR v2.0.6
installer?
Also, make sure you enter this into the Bug Tracker.

Hi,
just installed 2.0.6 for my Flex 1500.
Did not import any old database but set up new one.
- The new beta reacts very much slower on my XP Prof. than 2.0.5.
- If I release PTT it lasts several seconds until receive tone
comes back (MME Flex1500 Flex1500 256kB Buffer)
- Band-switches go crazy. Meaning that if you press e.g. 40m the
old band stays lit and if you press other bands the old ones stay
lit all. If you change skin within it you get very funny picture of
lit band-keys. You can get a picture from that.
I have to go back to 2.0.5.
