Ruben,
PowerSDR 2.x does take more computer resource to run than PowerSDR 1.x
for several reasons. The most significient being the processing power
needed to render the console "skins". But you should not be
experiencing 0,5 second delays between PTT and transmit.
Can you describe your configuration in more detail? What modes are you
using? Are you using other third-party software in conjunction with
PowerSDR, like digital mode programs, DDUtil, etc..)
Have you tried your test using a newly created PowerSDR v2.x database
without importing any data from a previous database? I find it very
informative to create a new database and do only a minimum configuration
on it and see if I can reproduce the problem. For the FLEX-x000 I do
not even change the default sampling rate or buffer size (since they are
for the most part synchronized automatically). I just add a CAT
configuration and set up the VAC configuration for testing. A lot of
times, errant database configurations can conflict and cause problems.
Testing with a "clean" default database can provide a lot of valuable
information for the development team as they debug problems.

Hello friendsand thank's for the new release.
Running fine here 2.0.6 with 5000A and MacBook Pro.
A little question: with all beta versions i have more delay than 1.8.6.
I have around 0,5 seconds of delay in TX.
Not only audio, also PTT.
Is this ok?
Same buffer settings in beta and 1.18.6.

PowerSDR 2.0.6 Beta has been released and is on the FlexRadio website
(details below). The release notes show what we fixed in going from
2.0.5
to 2.0.6 as well as some known issues we discovered in testing.
Please note
that this release has a VAC problem for transmit so if you are using
VAC,
you will want to avoid this release. Having said this, we would
appreciate
feedback on 2.0.6. We are likely to release a new Beta drop about
every few
weeks from this point forward until we feel we have a release that
fixes all
major issues that have been encountered in 2.0. Your feedback will
ensure
that we focus on the right things, so please enter bug reports on the
FlexRadio support page (bug tracker) if you encounter any issues that
have
not already been found (mentioned in the release notes or if you
search in
the bug tracker). This is only being announced on the FlexEdge
reflector
and remember, this is Beta software so you may encounter issues that
we have
not seen yet.
Here is where 2.0.6 can be found:
