PowerSDR releases do not install "on top" on one another. Each
version has a separate application and data folder, so the versions do
not co-mingle with one another.
Just make sure that the FLEX-xx00 is powered off and any previous
releases of PowerSDR are shut down before installing a new version.

database that was previously created and used by a FLEX-5000 or

not handle radio interoperability of the databases.
If you have a FLEX-x000 and a FLEX-1500 connected to the same PC, it
is best that you setup two application shortcuts to PowerSDR.exe and
use the runtime option "-datapath:[path] to designate the folder where
the radio specific database is located. Refer to the following KB
