Hello Dudley,

I'll make one last general post about this as it may affect some other folks
as well.

After a couple of hours of trying things one step at a time and writing
everything down, I found that the problem seems to be the related to the
sampling rate set in PSDR when using VAC.

Although the manual for PSDR 1.18.6 says to use 44,000 for the best results
with the least chance of audio dropouts, I found exactly the opposite to be
true in my case.

Running with either WinPSKse or WinWarbler with VAC, the only way I can
eliminate the dropouts is to use a sample rate of 8000. That works
perfectly. As the sample rate increases, so does the frequency of the
dropouts. I also noticed that I saw the dropouts when I had just VAC
enabled, even with all PSK software shut down.

YMMV.

Ralph W5JGV - WD2XSH/7
