Also:
1. Do a chkdsk on your drive, multiple blue screens can take its toll on the
file system
2. If you have removable devices (webcams, printers, etc,) try disconnecting
them for a while (or when not in use)
3. If you are using wireless keyboard or mouse, go to the manufacturer's
site and download the latest (also the motherboard/manufacturer of your
computer)
4. Run memtest on your system and see if you have any memory issues
5. Download the trial version of BurnIn Test from www.passmark.com and test
cpu, memory, 2d, 3d, sound and disk with the settings all the way to the
right. It will only run for 15 minutes in trial mode but it can tell if
something is drastically broken.
