Huh? Increasing the --visibility is what makes the problem worse and
more obvious.

That doesn't help. There are still too few tiles shown when flying at
high altitudes with good visibility. Lots of white areas that are
updated too late. But it seems that I am the only one with this
problem, so forget it.  :-)
