..I can do it. I first need to get my gear rigged so I can get
accellerated beyond 1 fps, so I _know_ what I'm babbling about.

..I also got EAA's green light on re-publishing a set of articles
on intuitive air traffic control visualisation, Burt or Dick Rutan
wrote it. The wee problem there, is my top floor neighbor, or his
kids or spouse, may have mistaken my stuff for one of theirs, so
I need to have them check again. Worst case scenario is, it is
lost, and I'll need to get back up issues from EAA.

..my rig: an amd k6-2 450MHz with 128 MB ram and an
ATI Technologies Inc 3D Rage IIC AGP (rev 122), 8 MB vram.
(Can also farm out cpu jobs over lan to an amd k6-2 200MHZ
with 128 MB and another 2MB ATI (pci) card, and a PII 233MHz
with 96 MB and an integral 2 MB vram.) Can also boost ram and
buy a new video card, advices? I need accelerated OpenGL.

..Red Hat 7.2 with all erratas (can dump that for Mandrake 8.2,
which has Flightgear on cd # 3, tried it on my k6-2 200, 1fps).

..med vennlig hilsen = with Kind Regards from Arnt... ;-)

Scenarios always come in sets of three:
best case, worst case, and just in case.
